After listening to Dr Bobby Newman and Dana Reinecke during their workshop on ABA , I felt it appropriate to add to the ABA Practical Briefing by raising certain issues highlighted at their workshop. The following includes important points to keep in mind with regard to reinforcers, instructions, upkeep of the log book, and the usefulness of regular team meetings in providing continuity of service provision.

During the last month , we have been working on action commands with matthew (4). We have been teaching him verbs, using the instruction, "Show me.................and the verb eg jumping, clapping etc. This has proved to be quite fun for him to do, especially with the more active movements such as jumping.
